Course Description To begin your career as a Private Detective in the state of Georgia, you need to complete a state-approved pre-licensing course. This online 70-hour pre-licensing course meets the training requirements outlined in the Georgia Private Detective and Security Agencies Act, giving you a springboard to launch your investigative career. This course begins with a look at the history of law enforcement and private investigation in Georgia. The curriculum then reviews the ethical considerations of investigative activities as they relate to the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Gramm-Leach-Billey Act.
